I used my 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi and my turkey was was 8 pounds, the only issue I ran into was not being able to use the crisping lid like I'd hoped to crisp up the skin. This wasn't a deal breaker for me because I can always use the oven to crisp up the turkey before serving and the ease of having the turkey done in less than hour is such a huge time saver!

How to Cook a Turkey in the Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker

If you prefer to cook a turkey breast instead of a whole turkey, I've tested that out as well! It's shocking how fast they cook! One important note about cooking a turkey breast, I have heard from a few people that their organic turkey breasts took longer than the times in my post, so if you are doing an organic turkey breast, you will want to adjust the time by a few minutes.

Cooking your Thanksgiving turkey in the Ninja Foodi may not be for you, especially if you are cooking a large bird or prefer to smoke your turkey, but there are tons of ways to use the Ninja Foodi to make delicious side dishes and desserts.

One of the ways I like to use my Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker is to make side dishes ahead of time! There are certain foods that do really well when you make them ahead of time and others that really need to be made the day of. Here are some of my suggestions for make-ahead side dishes and desserts.
