The city of Dothan, Alabama is a great place to spend a few days if you are in the market for antiques and collectibles. The main center of the city is surrounded by the Ross Clark Circle, and within this central ring are many fantastic antique malls and vintage shops where you can spend a few hours browsing. One of the most popular antique malls in Dothan is the Land of Cotton Antique Mall. Spread over 20,000 square feet, 50 independent dealers trade under one roof. The owners pride themselves on having some of the best antique dealers in the Wiregrass area. Just across the Ross Clark Circle from Dothan is the Old South Antique Mall. This well-organized store is full of unique items and friendly staff to help you find exactly what you are looking for. In the middle of these two malls is The Lampman, a store that, as the name suggests, specializes in antique lighting and lamps! It is a must visit for those with a qualified interest in collecting these types of antiques.
Outside of Ross Clark Circle in Dothan, shoppers will findAntique Attic Imports. This store specializes in vintage and antique furniture from all over the world. They have been in business at the same location since 1969, making them the oldest privately owned antique store in Alabama. On another route out of town is the Highlands Antique Mall. This mall is a one-stop shop for everything from high-end antiques to artwork, unique repurposed items, jewelry, rugs and everything in between. Aubree Jo's Furniture, Antiques, and More is nearby with wonderful vintage finds to suit all budgets.
With so much to choose from, it is clear that Dothan is the perfect location for a city break for those with a taste for antique treasure hunting.
