  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of basil
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic
  • 1 – 8 ounce package of cream cheese
  • 6 ounces of pepperjack cheese, grated
  • Tobasco or other hot sauce of your liking

Directions

  • In a large sauce pan, sauté the onion in the butter until it’s tender.
  • Stir in the tomatoes, condensed soup, pepper, salt, basil, sugar, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Bring it to a boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Then stir in the milk, cream cheese, and pepperjack cheese until melted.
  • Add a few drops of your choice of hot pepper sauce.
  • This will make 8 servings (2 quarts)
  • Each serving of this soup has 224 calories.
