DescriptionJob Summary:Under direct supervision, provides basic clerical functions for department.

• Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws
• Answer and screen telephone calls
• Takes messages or relay information according to procedures
• Maintains various departmental activity logs, records, and forms
• Maintains department files
• Establish new files and file documents according to procedures
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
• Prepares outgoing mail
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Photocopy and collate materials
• Responds to requests for information as directed
• Establishes and maintains courteous, cooperative relations with the public, patients and other personnel
• Performs other related duties as requested

• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job at a fully satisfactory level of performance as defined by department standards
