“This Is Not Really A Koa. It Has A Koa Name, But It Does Not Have The Practices Of A Koa.”

This park does not rate a one star rating. It gets an F in reading this park is a party place. It’s a place where you go to party all night run your music all night take golf carts and go around and around and around. They have a boombox they have a mega speaker. Our neighbors on two sides of us played music until two in the morning And they don’t care. The manager said this is a place for people come to have fun and that was our problem. We left two days early and lost our money because this park has a no refund practice but you could see why it does is because it’s a miserable place and less you want to run around and scream yell and holler and drink and it’s really truly not young kids. This is adults.

Lots for kids to do here if you have them. We enjoyed the proximity to the boardwalk and beach.

The staff was extremely nice even not charging us for arriving a day late due to weather. They didn't have to do that, we didn't ask, they offered. I was very impressed w/ the level of customer service.
The grounds are very woody and the sites are decent sized for a KOA. We had a patio site and it was spacious.

The roads are very narrow and windy and not in great conditions with potholes etc but we didn't have any issues getting into or out of our site. We will definitely be back when we have more than a couple of days to spend.

Didn't use their internet but both Verizon and ATT had solid speeds for streaming.
Cable tv was good, as were the utilities.

We moved into our pull through site yesterday and spent the afternoon getting our pull through site set up for our 5 nights relaxing in Myrtle beach.

This afternoon we received a call from the office that we had to move because they are doing some construction and I have to move today.

Having been a construction project manager for many years I know darn well that these things are planned well in advance.

So now our afternoon was spent moving, and the site they gave me was a back in that was way short for my rig. We did get on it with a lot of help and there is not much place to park. But they gas lighted me with the “you are getting a better site”. Really?

No offer for partial refund, on offer of KOA points ….nothing. Just BS that I was getting a better site.

They really don’t care about people, just their money.

The campground was clean. Hookups were easy to access. Our pull-thru RV site provided both a picnic table, as well as a metal table with umbrella & 4 chairs, a fire ring with 2 Adirondack chairs, and (in our case) a brand new propane grill. Nearest public shower/bathrooms building was closed for remodeling at time of visit, but there were two others available not far away.

The "bounce pillow" was a huge hit for my 9 year old, as was the "worm train ride", the playgrounds, pool and splash areas.

We rented a golf cart to drive around campgrounds and to go to the beach (ocean front was just a couple of blocks away), but found out upon arrival that you can't drive out onto the beach (as you can in some other places along the coast) so we had to pay to park the golf cart. Couldn't set up our beach canopy either, which was a bummer. Next time, we'll just take the campground's free daily "shuttle" instead and save us that money!

Really friendly staff and beautifully kept KOA. We stayed in November and the place was mostly empty. Sites are big and some offer really nice extras. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice big park with lots of shade and very quiet. Clean pool and splashpad for the kids. Very upscale for a KOA and excellent location. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. Beach shuttle was very convenient except the driver complained about doing it. Office was friendly and efficient.
