St. Paul 3, Lancaster 1: It took six innings, but the Swordsmen bats came alive in the bottom of the sixth inning as they scored three runs on three hits, which was the difference in the win. Angelo Patino had the key hit of the single with a single to left field that scored Fernie Soto with the eventual winning run. Junior Kalai Benavente was atoughcustomer on the mound for St. Paul as he allowed one run on one hit and struck out 10 in a complete-game performancewithhis fastball reaching an 84 TOP.

West Covina 5, Los Amigos 3: West Covina rallied from a 3-1 deficit by scoring four runs in the top of the sixth inning and secured a huge road win. Marcus Mayweather hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning.

Diamond Bar 10, Savannah 5:The Brahmas scored two runs in the sixth and five more in the seventh to pull out a road win. Robert Murphy scratched out two hits and drove in two runs.

Schurr 8, Century 7:The Spartans held an 8-3 lead in the sixth inning and held off a furious late rally by the Centurions to earn an important road win.

Santa Fe 7, Garey 4: Junior Antonio Garcia was one of four hitters who had two hits in thegameanddrove in three runs. The other hitters were Ethan Lopez, Nico Alvarez, and Sebastian Macias.

Arcadia 3, Long Beach Poly 0:Gabe Lopez once again proved too much for the Jackrabbits to handle as he allowed fourhits,and struck out eight in 6 1/3 scoreless innings, and struck out eight. Fernando Palencia, a University of San Diego signee, retired the final two hitters to earn the save. Palencia and Leo Peniche each contributed two hits.

Maranatha 4, Royal 0:In one of the more remarkable performances of the year in Southern California, Zach Strickland struck out 17 hitters in tossing his first no-hitter of the season. PerfectGamehad his fastball at 95 MPH TOP. Strickland also had an RBI triple.

Ayala 6, La Serna 1:Caleb Trugman won his third consecutivegamein as many weeks with another outstanding performance, limiting the Lancers to two hits and striking out nine. Dylan Wood was the offensive star of the day with two hits and two RBIs.

San Marino 5, Citrus Hill 0: Tomas Bilvado, a junior, turned in another solid performance as he threw a three-hitter and fanned seven. Sid Dananhauer went 2 for 4 with an RBI.

St. Francis 8, Windward 3: The Golden Knights jumped to a 7-0 lead and never looked back in posting a huge road win. Jordan Lewallen went 2 for 3, with a double, and drove in three runs. Bobby Milton contributed two hits and two RBIs. Lucas Faverro held the Wildcats to two earned runs on seven hits and struck out six.

Temple City 8, Temescal Canyon 2:The Rams made short work of one of the top teams in the Inland Empire, scoring six runs in the fifth inning. Kassandra Gewecke, an Ohio State commit, allowed two runs on four hits and struck out five in a complete game performance. Melinda Lansford brought in three runsandSheridan Gonzalez had a triple.

Whittier Christian 3, Mission Viejo 2:The Heralds scored two runs in the second inning and one more in the sixth to hold on and defeat the visiting Diablos. Sofia Hernandez went 3 for4and drove in a run.

La Serna 5, Ramona 0:In the upset of the day in the division, freshman Candice Puig tossed a four-hitter and struck out three. Aubrie Baruch went 4 for4and drove in two runs.
